Registration Reminder

January 29th, 2010

Can you believe it Camp Digalus is only 20 days away. There is still time to register but the fee is due to increase by $5 on the 1st February.

Don’t worry if you can’t camp, just come out for the day and join
us in celebrating 100 years of Boy Scouts of America.

For those of you who decide to come out for the day, please add a
note in the special needs to say you are coming out for the day
and we will work with you to refund the camping fee.

As in previous years you can register individually, as a Den or
as a Pack. So if you have someone who is unsure about registering,
go ahead and register your group and you can always add to your
registration later. That way the group does not have to pay the
additional $5 if you register late.

Don’t just take our word for it

January 25th, 2010

Perhaps we at Troop 30 can be a little bit biased towards Camp Digalus.

Many Packs have links to or site, however we did come across this video on YouTube from Pack 990 from last years camp.

Check it out.

Facebook

January 13th, 2010

The organizers of Camp Digalus are often asked to describe what the camp is like. All of them will tell about the fun that the boys have in competing and demonstrating their Scouting skills. They will tell you about the helicopter that landed, about the huge camp fires, the Storm Troopers and the Dirty Derby.

Whether you are a seasoned Digalus camper or a Bear Leader attending for the first time wondering what you have got yourself into you can now join your Scouting friends at our Facebook page and share experiences. Yes there is a gallery showing the camp fires and the helicopter.
