Welcome to the first issue of the Camp Dilligas Newsletter, an occassional newsletter to keep camp participants informed about the preparations for Camp Dilligas.

Well the Camp Dilligas Committee are now hard at work preparing for a funastic camp next February.
The title of the camp this year will be Dilligas and The Tomb of the Three Skulls.

EVENTS

The events during the day will test the boys teamwork, spirit and scouting skills.
This year the boys will need to collect clues to an artifact. Dens that find the artifacts
will get a chance to be part of the evening skit. Has your Den got what it takes to solve the clues?
MIDWAY
===============================================================================
The planning for midway is in full swing. We are able to announce that the
following have been booked.
* Arizona Scouting Museum
* Craig Davis, a magician who will be providing an after dinner show.

The first Scout Camp was held on Brownsea Island, in the United Kingdom in 1907 from 1st August to 9th August.
22 boys attended the camp divided into four patrols; Wolves, Ravens, Bulls and Curlews.
To mark this event Cub Scouts and Scouts are being asked to reaffirm their
Scout Oath at sunrise on the 1st August 2007
ENGLISH AND AMERICAN ARE NOT THE SAME LANGUAGES

As this years Camp Dilligas is a celebration of 100 years of Scouting the official language of the camp will be English.
